As you look through the paper notice how many of the marks are awarded to LANGUAGE questions – the SQA want to know that you have a knowledge of all questions types. That being the case, make sure you learn all the imagery, techniques and punctuation you have been taught. What is also interesting is the number of UNDERSTANDING questions that merely require you to explain what has already been said in you own words. Easy peasy.
Now that you have this – use it with papers you are practising at home, make your own plan for questions and take note of the question types you are getting wrong.
